Today we are talking about level B of mandatory periodic inspections and tests of the boiler<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The maintenance of level B industrial boilers is carried out on a <strong>triennial basis<\/strong> and requires the <strong>intervention of the OCA<\/strong>, that is, an Authorized Control Body. In addition to the actions indicated for Level A, Level B also carries out a complete inspection of the documentation and the condition of the boiler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/solucionesdecombustion.com\/mantenimiento-de-calderas-industriales-soluciones-integrales-de-combustion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">List of Industrial Boiler Maintenance tasks, level B: <\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Verification of the documentation of the boiler and the installation plate in periodic inspections<\/li><li>Inspection of the boiler elements<\/li><li>Visual inspection before and after cleaning<\/li><li>Supplementary tests<\/li><li>Deformation Check<\/li><li>Checking Weld Beads<\/li><li>Thickness measurement by OCA<\/li><li>Supervision of Accessories and safety valves<\/li><li>Pressure gauges and thermometers<\/li><li>Fireplace and flue<\/li><li>Refractory review<\/li><li>Electric circuit<\/li><li>In <strong>fire-tube boilers<\/strong>: check of shafts and tie rods; Reinforcement gussets; Tubes, tube plates and manifolds; Smoke boxes<\/li><li>In <strong>water-tube boilers<\/strong>: checking of structure and fixing of tubes to drums and collectors and tube bundles or coils<\/li><li>Operational and safety tests in the company of the OCA: Regulation and sealing of safety and relief valves<\/li><li>Checking the regulation automatisms<\/li><li>Security automation<\/li><li>Burner check, with a complete equipment overhaul and combustion analysis and adjustment<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In any case, it should not be forgotten that the maintenance process is vital to achieve the optimal functioning of all the equipment -especially the boilers- in the industrial process facilities, and thus avoid incidents and unnecessary stops that affect the production of the plant.
