40 years of Maintenance in a Steam Boiler, still Impeccable
Maintenance on a steam boiler. Today we take a look at the facilities of a client who shares with us the current state of his steam boiler, commissioned in 1973. It has been 40 years of maintenance on an industrial boiler, which is still impeccable today.
The steam generator in question is a 5,720 Kg/hour vaporization boiler, which works at a maximum temperature of 187ºC and a feed water temperature of 106ºC, and remains fully operational in the industrial plant where it works with fuel oil as fuel.
Reinva has a team of experts, made up of engineers with extensive experience in charge of designing custom-made boilers for each specific application, as well as commissioning, maintenance as well as a technical team of updating and repairs and spare parts for thermal power plants.
Industrial boilers maintenance
As we usually say in Reinva, the process of maintenance on a steam boiler is by no means a minor task in thermal power plants. In fact, boiler maintenance is vital to achieve optimal operation of all equipment and improve its performance, especially in the case of pressure equipment enabled in industrial process facilities. This responsibility prevents incidents and protects workers, while avoiding unnecessary stoppages that affect plant production.
At this time complicated by the rise in energy prices and the high climatic challenges facing the planet, an optimal set-up is especially required to maintain the competitiveness of companies.
In this context, Reinva is a certified maintenance company that carries out all kinds of mandatory periodic boiler inspections and tests, from level A, on an annual basis, to carry out the inspection regarding the Pressure Equipment Regulation, up to Level C inspections, which are carried out in depth every six years, and include hydrostatic testing.
