Conversion of a steam boiler room coming from 1967
Reinva undertakes the conversion of a steam boiler room, equipped with equipment from 1967. During the last decades, Reinva has carried out the maintenance of this steam boiler room that has been able to heroically resist the passage of time since its commissioning in the 1960s. The boilers, built by a now defunct manufacturer of capital goods, have been able to adapt to the changing times and needs of the user company, with the accompanying inspection and maintenance corresponding to the throughout these years.
The old facility has done a good job, despite the end of its life. The passage of time and the increase in the current needs to improve the performance of the facilities now require carrying out the reconversion of the boiler room, with the consequent replacement of these boilers, which have extended their useful life for more than five decades.
Conversion of a steam boiler room
Along with improving the performance of the entire installation, the project will allow it to adapt to compliance with the new European regulation limiting atmospheric emissions from combustion installations, which will come into force definitively in 2025. This emission limitation for medium-sized installations is focused on improve air quality and protect the atmosphere. The scope of application covers all combustion installations with a nominal thermal power equal to or greater than 1 MW and less than 50 MW, regardless of the fuel used.
